VIDEO RECIPE - PECAN PIE

Nicko whips up his awesome chocolate pecan pie!

Ingredients

90g butter
1 packet chocolate melts (3 cups)
1 cup pf castor sugar
3 eggs
250ml (2/3cup) Golden syrup (maple)
2 or 3 cups of pecans
1/2 tsp salt
short crust pie shell (1 or 2)

180 Degrees C for about 35 - 45 mintues

golden syrup is made from evaporated, concentrated sugarcane juice! corn syrup is sometimes used in replacement to golden syrup but we in canada have both! you're talking about imitation maple syrup which is made with golden and corn syrup mixed together!
