Steven Weinberg on Atheism

According to atheist physicist Steven Weinburg, most scientists don't think much about religion -- they don't think it's worth thinking about. But Steven Weinburg does think about it and in a 2003 interview with BBC's Jonathan Miller he gave his view on a number of things. Why are people religious, is the U.S. too religious, do Americans equate religion with patriotism, is truth important in religion, does our moral sense come from religion, is religion a good thing and does religion conflict with science? To die is to leave the mortal body of flesh. You seem to have much love to be with out GOD. To find interests in truths, the book of wisdom shall conclude of that which holds you. Mr. Weinburg worry not. You sound that life to you: need not be exsplaining and that happiness is in your life . Generations at result of natural needs are commonly found. I don't get religion..

So they, particularly Catholics, believe that if you don't believe in god, you will go to hell.

They will, without a doubt, have a good few Non-Catholic friends. They have to go through their lives with the knowledge that their friends and/or family are doomed to an eternity of suffering and damnation, yet they don't really seem to care.. This shows they are either horrible, horrible people, or don't truly believe in what they say the believe in..
