They're talking about the system they went through. There are obviously places where you can learn for fun. But the national, the provincial teams, are hard core. You're not there to screw around.

They're so wrong about Liu Xiang. He is NOT a singer or movie star. record labels and companies discovered he had a good voice, and offered him, but he rejected all offers, cuz he was focused on his sport. He said he was an athlete, not an entertainer.

I dont know why some people always critize China's method of training is like a machine manufacturing. I think some people would really want this if they really want to be in the Olympics. I would really like it if they do that in the US. I would join the Winter games,
