15" Kicker L7 @ 1000 watts RMS in Kia Soul

Just finished building my new box for my L7 15" in my Kia Soul... Decided not to throw both 15's in there this time like it was in my Bimmer, but instead use both amps... 2 Kenwood 9102D's pushing 500 watts RMS per coil... The box is not finished and I'm debating if I should carpet, fabric, or paint it... Oh, before anybody asks, we used a 6.5" Infinity speaker grill over the port to keep the polyfill from flying out all over the car.. Its a 3.5 cubic foot box tuned to 40hz in case anybody was wondering.. Best part is that the Kia is completely rattle/vibration free (Im just as surprised as you are) except for the rear windshield wiper blade vibrates a little bit.. Very loud setup..

Thanks is the converter universal? And did u tap into the manufacture amp?

@supersoul8 its universal, we had it tapped into the factory subwoofer for that. We completely disconnected the factory sub and ran the speaker wires to the LOC.

@bradpost13 Word of advice from experience (if this is your first system):

1:Save up and buy good shit (you end up spending more money replacing crap than getting it right the first time)

2: Buying from places like Best Buy is great because for $20-50 you can get a 4 year warranty that will replace the stuff you blow up.

3: Dont buy cheap power cables! The crap you buy for half the cost of the reputable cables is because they are really arent the gauge they claim, its mostly insulation.
