@pacoboi96 i ended up getting the 308 but in 16 inch barrel maybe should have gotten the 21

@adriandagangster This may be a little to late, but the .308 is sold in many gun stores. Why? Because I bought one.

Fuck!!!My car!!!!

22" better than 16" in .308 ?

This is the most affordable, battle rifle, on the market and it's made with Russian quality.
I love this wood furniture version. Reminds me of the FN FAL G1 variant. I heard you could use G3 mags on these, which would look so legit, on this .308.
I live in California, so I don't think I'm able to get the .308 version. I am able to get the 7.62x39 and 5.45x39, but I havnt seen the NATO calibers, being sold

@Bootnknife I don't own a .308 saiga but I've looked at them quite a bit. To my understanding they all accept double stack magazines so the "hi cap" mags should fit; the reason they ship with low cap mags is due to 922r; they do not possess the required amount of American made parts to accept hi cap magazines legally so they are sold with low-cap mags instead. Many people ignore this rule (to be clear I'm not telling you to do so) but the manufacturer/ distributor cannot without liability.

@Damian1975 the 7.62x39 is like shooting a cap gun compared to the 7.62x51. world of difference.

i was wondering whether to get the saiga in 308 or 762x39

I have a question. When you get one strait from the box can you get a high cap mag and use it w/o modification? And is there a version of the 308 Saiga that only takes low cap mags i should look out for as not to get?
What is the effective range of this gun. Please tell me it is over 400 yards. I'm thinking about buying one.

I don't have a scope or anything but I don't shoot targets at more than 100 yards anyways.
