Escaflowne's opening theme, "Yakusoku wa Iranai," english lyrics and vocals by me. :)

Listening to the original Japanese version of this is always kind of a magical experience for me, haha. (I always get chills at the parts right before the choruses!) It's so pretty that I've really been wanting to try an English version for a while now, and I finally found time to work on it today!

Obviously you can't do Maaya Sakamoto's vocals justice, but I added some reverb to these to try to match the style of the original, so hopefully it sounds at least a little close! And as always, I did my best to keep the meaning as intact as I could. Hope you enjoy listening to this beautiful song from a beautiful series. c:
