this is how to beat level 18 of portal in 10 steps.
in the last room, getting onto the final platform does not require the fall back down to the first platform, it just happened that way when i was recording.
i think that's the only spot where a step could be removed. with some luck you could make it through the portal without hitting a wall, but even then you're gonna have way too much forward momentum to land anywhere useful...
as with all my videos, this is vanilla. i never change the timescale.

well i did this run only once successfully. and i discovered 1 step after this. i've tried it in 8 steps (one stepping, and removing the final step) but i just can't duplicate the last fling into the elevator.
