This video , produced in Holland in 1960, provides a deep insight on the mechanics of phonation in singing. The main authors are Van der Berg (a scientist on voice) and William Vennard ( a singing professor). The work reflects the knowledge and latest findings 50 years ago and a lot more has been discovered, but the main information remains correct and very well explained.

  • Brilliant. Thanks to you for uploading this :)

  • Thanks you so much for uploading this video. I am studying Speech Therapy and this video really helps me to visualize the anatomy of the larynx.

  • I'm glad to see the classic film available. Vennard showed it to us in pedagogy classes and I wondered where I could find it again to show to my own students.
