4 eggs
1/2 cup of coconut milk (or full fat milk)
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup flax meal
Add any spices or flavors you'd like to get a tasty crust. You can also cut the crust in strips and use as breadsticks. I personally add:
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp basil
garlic powder (i don't measure, i just add til i think its awesome)

Its also at www.benkreps.com. Although I tend to curse like a sailor so be careful when you look around.

  • I can't find coconut flour in Cr, do you know how i can make it ?

  • @wenvivian2688 is Cr Colorado? Thats just for my own curiousity. Coconut flour can be found at whole foods or health stores but is expensive. It should also be available in local grocery stores in the relegated organic section. It is annoyingly expensive which is why I always recommend ordering online. Amazon is a great start and usually has free shipping. You use very little coconut flour compared to normal flour use so don't be like me and order 15 lbs or your freezer will be full like mine.

  • @tavious2 I don't know how to tell you to make it. The only way I have seen is people using food processors and blenders to break down shredded coconut down as close to flour as they can but I find that its not that good of a substitute.

  • hay man i found some flax meal and coconut flour and with 4 eggs and 1/2 cup of cocnut milk the mixture wasnt runny at all.... it was actually resembling normal flour pizza dough?

hmm maybe and extra egg and coconut milk might have to go in next time

  • @drummerlars In the end it comes down to personal preference on what consistency of crust you like. Altitude, oven variations, and different brands of coconut flour will alter things a bit. Just curious but how did the dough taste and turn out?

Just curious but how did the dough taste and turn out? If you end up making another crust and change the recipe let me know how it turns out. I'm always up for trying something better.

  • @fantaworld because I can't eat any gluten and this is a gluten free recipe. Otherwise I couldn't eat the unhealthy food
