The only copy of this acetate was found in the estate of novelty record producer Tash Howard.
As for the message in the song, there was a time in which Tiny's associates, relatives, and friends believed the idea
of him becoming a star were as unrealistic as a man walking on the moon. Due to incredible perseverance, both things
were eventually achieved. Both successes were met with incredible fanfare and awe. In the 1970's, however, the public's
need for entertainers like Tiny Tim waned simultaneously with the need for continued exploration of the moon and Apollo
missions. *See his November 12, 1974, appearance on the Tonight Show.

I got to see Tiny live at a small hotel in Waterloo Iowa about 1972 or so. He was great. There were only about five of us there, but he put on the performance of a lifetime. One of my biggest regrets in life is NOT stopping to speak with him after. I was just too stunned and in awe!

I met him when he was playing the Circus in the mid '80's, we followed him outside after his set). I got some autographs but, I wish I had taken some photo's. yeah, he had a flask and was drinking a bit but he was a very friendly person and made us feel good. god Bless Tiny Tim!!!!!
