JANE CHILES, former Executive Director of the Catholic Conference of Kentucky, suffered the loss of her nephew, Scott Johnson, in the terror attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. That event, however, did not shake her faith and in this video she speaks about the value of human life and invites others to join her in holding violent killers accountable in ways that are not vengeful. She is a member of Murder Victims' Families for Reconciliation and a parishioner of the cathedral parish of Christ the King in the diocese of Lexington, Kentucky. She has testified on behalf of human life and dignity on several occasions before committees of Kentucky's General Assembly.
