Brevard - First Level Test One

It was another cold, rainy & windy day for a show... between the wet footing and the wind making it hard to hear my friend read for me, we made several mistakes in our test, but overall, a good experience. I found that I was riding a little conservatively, given the slippery conditions and was defensively positioned/ tipped a little forward. As always, there is plenty of room for improvement! :)

good pony - hes got such a lovely forward trot and he really tries in the walk on the long rein - Im such a fan of his... hes such big horse to hold together - you rode him well :)

@nala135 Jody, thank you so much!!! I'm a big fan of his as well. LOL! I've had a lot of challenges along the way, and being an amateur, it's slow going, but I have wonderful trainers to guide me and I've learned SO MUCH from this big boy. I look forward to learning much more from and with him. :)

I think he looked very relaxed this time! I am working in learning this test right now. I told my instructor I have been practicing it and now she wants to see it. I really don't know how to extend the canter. I have only done it on my own and I was guessing how to do it. Also, Swing tends to break into the trot when I show him down, but I think in my case it is because I am not keeping my leg on him enough. I just started looking over test 2 today. Did you video the Oct. 15th show?
