Wow Bugalooon, I have them on my SuperCub and thought they were great. I did crack one on a bad landing. But after some glue they were fine again. They are great fun on the ice. Pretty good on hard pack snow.

I had those same ski's on my plane last year and they SUCK on the snow, cheap garbage

Nice job on the flap mod

Very nice job on the flaps. Do you think the T-28 really needs them? Mine really slows down to a crawl on approach and won't tip stall at all. I've been working on retracts ,but the nose gear has really been a hassle, and 2 more servos is adding excess weight. Good looking flaps guy!

and skis?

is that i tri-blade?

what is the best way to make flaps... i mean like making the actual surface, seperating and reattching the flap itself. btw, did you use the parkzone servos the rest of the plane used?
Looks extremely nice...any flight vids yet?

how much effect do the flaps have?

They make a huge difference - and that's not an exageration! When coming in for a landing, I can hit the flaps and the plane will come to a crawl. Usually the airspeed is so slow, the landings only take a couple of feet. Plus, the flaps make it look much more scale!

ooo and one more question, what is that prop. (brand, pitch) i need a triple blade prop for true scale flight.

Hey - thanks for the comments! I've really enjoyed these skis, but they do get really brittle in the cold. I've gone through 2 pair already from prop-strikes and dorked landings. Nevertheless, they keep me up in the air when snow's-a-fallin!
The prop is a Master Air Screw 9x7 3-blade. I've heard that the 10x7 adds a bit more thrust, so I might give that a try when the weather warms up.
Take it easy.
