I dont understand.... How can I come in and basically be "Wayne Gretzky", winning all of these awards including the Stanly cup scoring 230 points.... and then the next year have my number stolen by a teammate? WTF!!! Not only was i not named a captain but my number was taken from me and given to another teammate? There are still some major things that need to be worked out in this mode!

@karpy10 What is your Overall rating? I don't know how EA determines who changes their number, but if I had to guess it would either be the OV rating or the player's age, with the older player getting priority. I know for captaincy it seems that way, in my Be A GM mode, I have Dion Phaneuf as Captain but ever since getting the Sedins, the game always picks one of them instead when I seem a few months. It annoys me to no end.

do you know how to get you player traded? mine plays for the oilers and i wanna try to get traded to the capitals.

@greendayjr14 After 3 years, your contract will expire and your agent will tell you which teams are interested in your player. As for getting traded, it's a tough one. Sometimes doing bad will get you traded and others have said doing really good on a bad team can get you traded to a playoff team. The best way to switch teams is like I said, wait for your contract to end (you can sim games) and pick another team. With any luck the Caps will be one of the teams interested.

ok so for the 1st 5 games for the van canucks i totalled 13 assists and then my coach moved me to the second line telling me my stats need to improve why why does this happen?

@jamacianziggy1 What is your position and player type. A sniper needs to score goals, a playmaker needs assists, a tough guy needs to hit and so on.

Not playing to your player type will not make you a great player in your coaches eyes. A sniper that can't score is not doing what he is paid to do regardless if he is a plus 100 and has 200 assists. It's stupid yes, but that's how it works.

@CsRNJ0511 If you had a clue you would realize I was playing as a Tough Guy. Tough Guys seldom (if ever) get drafted in the 1st round. To increase your rank as a Tough Guy you need to hit alot and fight. Goals are not your priority as this player type (I was first on my team in goals and points). If you want to easily get into the first round, just choose the sniper player type and score goals.

for stickes i use a Titan Retro, i was drafted 1st overall by Edmonton as a Two-way forward. I win the Memorial cup as the Vancouver Giants :)

Quick queston, what is a power forwards job and a dangler...i see a tugh guy is suppose to hit and fight, a sniper is suppose to score goals, and a playmaker is suppose to create plays and get assist...but what do power forwards and danglers do?

Can you add photos to your Hockey Cards after you save them? Or do you have to change them at the instant replay menu?

I had the same problem and I dont think the player type is important for this. In one season I scored like 30 goals in 12 games and the coach moved me to the second line for no reason. I'm a Sharpshooter so its my job to score goals. Weird Coach...

@karpy10 something similar happened to me too.. i went to the prospects game and got first star so the team that picked me put me to the pros right away.. for the first 4 games i had a 3 point average per game and they sent me to minors saying i needed more seasoning

How do I use my pro player I created when playing Team Versus Online? I created the guy and when I play online I have my number and physical characteristics but the wrong name. The name changes depending on the team I'm on. I've tried deleting him and jhe won't go away either
