Fantastic Impromptu card effect- this is probably one of the most stunning and fun to perform card tricks. The slights aren't that difficult and it blows people away. Remember, use the patter in the performance video to enhance the misdirection.

does the last part acutally work? what i find is that right after they push the card in, they look up at me an immediatly see the card in my mouth. it worked really well in the video cause your face is off camera but does it work in reality ?

as soon as they push the card in, you square the deck and immediately turn over the top card to keep their attention on the deck. if you did the patter about not blinking correctly, they shouldn't look up until you've shown them that the top card isn't theirs.

The ambitious card is one of the most magical card magic out there and it is also the most abused by people who can't do a decent double-lift yet want to be David Blaine by performing this classical piece of magic poorly. What a shame.
