To those commenting that my English sucks, fine, be it. But it is because I'm speaking colloquial Filipino-English. I'm no journalist, nor there is a need for me to speak formal English in this spontaneously recorded video.

But I bet most (if not all) who criticized can't even speak English at all (which is evident in how they wrote their comments).

But anyways! That's that, I won't entertain any more comments like that. Enough with the flame baiting, and on with the cause I'm supporting.

The rain's pouring continuously since last night which caused floods along Metro Manila. I'm staying at a dormitory in Pedro Gil St. cor Taft Ave. in Malate, Manila and I had to go to a convenience store to stock up some food and drink. But with the flood right now, I wasn't able to get anywhere.

This is the worst flood I've seen since my stay here in Pedro Gil, and it's getting even worse as of the moment.

The Philippines is a country that could have been like Japan and China, had it not for the way the Church has a lethal choke hold on the country.

They hate progress, they want a woman to pop a child every 9 months, they want to populate every square foot in the island.

@koldexx21 It's funny how you ridicule a filipino when you are one. I do agree with a lot of your points though, especially about the population. I could very well say that its inherent on every human to reproduce because of the pleasure therein. The poor can't buy most luxuries on the country, so, they indulge themselves with s3x. Its the livelihood that you must blame not the filipino themselves. I pity most of our kababayans with that said. I see the country dirty as seen on that video.

You know, the main reason why Malate and the rest of Metro Manila gets flooded every time a storm or typhoon makes landfall is because you Filipinos throw your trash (basura) and junk on the streets of Metro Manila and on the canals and esteros that crisscross the whole metropolis, which is why the sewer system ALWAYS gets clogged with trash that you guys threw on the streets instead of in the trash cans.

I don't know why it's difficult for you people to understand that simple fact.

i am an american i was in the philippines for almost a yr and let me tell u i love that country its an amazing culture the people r great i manila and all over the country my wife is filipino it pains me to see the footage of this typhoon cause i made alot of friends there and its like a second home to me and will go back someday soon to enjoy more of the people and the beautiful country
