Clares "Variation 1"

Another variation of the clares-scratch performance. In opposite to the original pattern we cut the first note by the crossfader-sequence of the two click flare. Thats the reason why we obtain now 7 sounds - so a odd number. The clares (original pattern) are a invention of the world famous DJ D-Styles.

A good and quite cheap mixer choice is the ecler hak 360! I got two of those.

Shouldn't a crab make 5 sounds? I always start the crab with the fader open and I thought that was the way to do it.

Anyway, nice video's man! I've just started to go through them all.

the mixer is fine, only for higher sound quality you should get a rane or an ecler

in this case thats not important

innofade away for a lasting scratchmixer, love the feel of the innofader

doesnt matter what mixer you have ... the crossfader is important..i bought a pmc 06 pro a for 60 € and installed a pro x fade into it....160 €...all together brilliant mixer works since 2008....no probs...

@Tonspielzeug That's probably it. I just call it a crab, but I'm not the expert hahaha :)

I'm a "hamster" scratcher, so for me it's much easier to crab with the fader open then it is for a "normal" scratcher I presume

@freskiesgates you are right dude - but at the moment its too expensive for me. Maybe in the future i have money for buying a new mixer (rane,..)
