Episode-139- How Much Green Energy Would 827 Billion Dollars Buy? - 2009-02-11 11:35:34-05
So once again thumbing their noses at the American People the Congress and the Senate have passed another huge bail out and this time called it a stimulus. I am fed up and I have a few ideas for what we can start doing about it. I am asking today for your collective ideas for [...]

Jack definitely thinks out of the box and considering he's driving while he is formulating these ideas
is pretty amazing. His podcasts cover many interesting topics. Many of those topics I have some
ideas about already. But in many cases the topics cover information which I knew nothing about.
In all cases, there is always a gem of information which you did not know or had forgotten.
When Jack starts to talk in terms of what 837 billion dollars could buy in "REAL" things you start
to see better how President OBAMA was no different than McCain or for that matter George Bush.
All of the above have been bought and paid for and have so much luggage that they could never go
against the puppet masters. Yes the Stimulus packages has been reduced. Much of it was taken away from your tax relief. Michele Obama made fun of GW's economic stimulus package and her husband's is even less. It is very sad that we had to choose between Obama and McCain. I voted for
Nader and would have voted for Ron Paul of Texas had he been on the ballot. I refused to give my vote to either Obama or McCain. Anyway, check out this survival podcast. And please don't forget to listen to Gary Null's Podcasts at garynull.com Mr. Null predicted this economic disaster years ago and is not afraid to place blame. Look ...no one person has all of the answers. But the current powers to be are getting us deeper and deeper in debt and the poor stupid public goes along with it like cattle to the slaughter house.. chewing some grain on the way.

  • the wind always blows in utah, Az pretty strong. damn you guys watch to much people who talk about theoretical stats and build their arguements off of it. and you listen to to much rush. ultra freakin conservative lol. these people just sound scared. these are guys are funny to listen too. the american consumers are to blame. live in debt is the american dream.

  • thanks for your response. yes we live in debt. and now everyone's saving are going to be inflated into nothingness. So those who saved will be penelized for saving and the bankers will be covered.

The bankers get their money for peanuts, and jack up the cost . it is usuery.. and who are these federal reserve guys anyway?

  • Wind power currently costs between $.03 and $.06 per KW after federal tax credits of $.017 for the first ten years.

Wind doesn't always blow, so you still need reliable, predictable sources of power to be able to meet demand.

It's not as simple as you make it out to be.

But I like your thinking, nonetheless.

  • The winds is always blowing somewhere. that is why we need to increase the capacity of the grid which means jobs, jobs, jobs.

  • nuclear is still far cheaper & far more stable- hell its even more safe than a lot of other 'energy'-

  • I think that's because GE a american company has moved to China, isn't it? GE is a good prorail company. That's why I love em. But I don't like them buidling things overseas. In trains it's been GE vs GM for years. Watch a" streetcar named denial " right on youtube.

  • @gritpod Remember the trillion dollars ayear in oil imports from the mideast. They buy such nice things with the money right? If you can take the train do it. Trains can haul humdreds of people a mile on a gallon of fuel. Work to get rid of dangerous crossings that make drivers wait for the new 3 mile long trains. This money is in the High Speed Rail program. Finally pay off debt, stop chargeing everything. The banks and oil companys are not all american owned anymore.

  • We need jobs.. not more taxes on goods.

But you make some good points.

    look up jack spirko.

and by the way we are buying windmills from China not PA , USA..

  • @intercityrailpal You should know Amtrak has been breaking ridership records for 6 years now. I don't know how, with poor service and sold out trains. You drive a smelly diesel. Amtrak gets 500 passenger miles per gallon with their diesels. What are you getting ONE? Just you in the truck, right? 500 people hauled one mile and your getting ONE PER MILE! I think we need a $10 tax on gas to pay for the wars and road work of the private highway lobby.

  • Who wants to keep spending a trillion dollars ayear on imported oil? $45 oil, with the TA TA Car on the market soon in the US! Humdred's of millions new drivers in China and India. Amtrak was set up because the private tax paying railroads were forced out of the business by government roads and airports with taxes on train tickets. The final blow was the highway lobby getting the mail put on trucks. 20 car trains were replaced by 50 trucks, fuel tanks and 50 drivers!

  • you've never been to wyoming, or great falls montana, or the desert at all have you?

  • Amen
