Cyril Jordan & New Moondogs " While My Guitar Gently Weeps"

A few weeks after George Harrison passed away, a special concert took place at CD Land in Palo Alto, CA to pay tribute to his iconic singer-songwriter. This is Cyril Jordan (of the Flamin' Groovies & Magic Christian) with The New Moondogs doing the song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", which was originally performed by the Beatles on the release folks refer to as "The White Album" which came out in 1968,

This performance took place on December 16, 2001.

Sadly, CD Land no longer exists, as it was one of the many independent record stores that couldn't survive in the 21st century. CD Land had a great selection of music, hosted some unforgettable live music events, and it is fondly remembered by those supported this little store.
