Today's kids are really into technology, and they want to have the same gadgets as mom and dad. But some parents are wary of handing an iPad over to their 4-year-olds. Oregon Scientific has come up with a product for young girls that lets them engage in tablet technology in an age-appropriate way. The Barbie Touch Screen Fashion Tablet has a touch screen, a stylus with built-in storage, a QWERTY keyboard, and lots of activities. There are eight activity categories: fashion, design, shopping, pets, music, party, games, and gadgets. Activity content includes matching, math, spelling, writing, musicmaking, and sequencing. You can also connect the tablet to your Mac or PC using the included USB cable to download additional game content and personalize the tablet with your child's name.
