@dexterrogers I think you'll find this isn't the Darien gap, but a section of the park, hence "Darien rain forest." I'd also imagine there aren't broad tracks through the Darien Gap...

amazing, did you hike through the darien? this is a dream of mine. must have been exhilarating the final leg of the journey. how long did it take? how did you cross the rivers? when is the best time of year to traverse? oct 2010 is my goal. awesome, kudos that is an astounding trek.
