I stopped smoking a year ago after 10 years smoking. I guess I know much better than you what addiction means dude. I have a friend that used cocaine almost every day and she finally stopped once an for all. does it means cocaine is not addictive? just because you wouldnt make a robbery to get some more does not mean is not addictive. if you smoke it with ur breakfast, if u spend a quarter of ur salary in cannabis and if u get very pissed and anxious when u dont have it: U R ADDICTED DUDE!

@yagorules well your right about one thing, i have smoked pot for a long time (then quit to job hunt), but ive also supported my mother when she got off coke. I stared real addiction in the face and witness what REAL addiction does to someone, as well as talked to numerous doctors about the subject. You? Thought so. This discussion just ended.

so from your point of view, a substance is addictive only if u would do horrible things to get it? i dont think anyone would sell his dead mothers ring for a cigarrette, is nicottine not addictive? dude you should think before speaking. as i told you there are different types of addiction, and obviously coke is really addictive. but that doesnt mean that other substances like nicotine or cannabis are not addictive. is not the dicussion, is your argument that is finished dude.

you can, ive seen many friends start and stop with long breaks in teh middle. some of them who used to smoke daily, now havnt smoked in years.
