This performance was from mid 1993 at Boggo Prison, Queensland.

Open Windows was one of the tunes Divinyls were playing live, well before the 1996 release of Underworld.

This track is clearly superior in it's early live guise compared to the album track, and as was often the case in the early 90's unfairly relegated McEntee's guitar too deep in the mix.

That dark melodic ring, old English elegance and sinister sounding riffs can be heard in it's their full glory in this video.

Thank you for the info, westozrocker. I initially had no date to attach to this video so I assumed it was from 1996, since Open Windows was described as a new song and the album containing that tune came out in, as you've mentioned, 1996. And now that you've indicated it was filmed in a prison I can finally make proper sense of the "ESCAPEE" cry Amphlett lets out in the beginning!

I'll change the title of this video (and one other I've posted) to reflect the correct date. Thanks again.
