Even ultra conservative Ann Coulter is trying to protect whatever little good is left about Islam by labeling these terrorists as EXTREMISTS. Don't you Muslims GET IT that in spite of all these terrorist attacks being done by people in the name of Islam, the media protects you by calling these murderers EXTREMISTS rather than REGULAR Muslims!! It just makes viewers believe that these anarchists don't represent true Islam or its followers. it's Good some people are smarter than that.

Were there any terrorist activities against the US or its citizens by people who were NOT muslim extremists, or is she cherry picking events? Also, pretty much anyone from the middle east is a Muslim. Whether or not they are an extremist, well, that is another issue. But if we are attacked in Saudi Arabia, chances are good it won't be by Episcopalian extremists.

@canisfamilliaris I respect your view on religion. All people have the right to their own views and I like to see things from all possible perspectives. As for the political aspect Islam does also teach (like the Torah and Old Testament) that if you live within a non-Muslim country you SHOULD live by their laws. Most Christians are not Christ-like at all so how can we (as sad as it may be that we can't) expect most Muslims to act right? Bad argument I know, but Muslims aren't the only ones.

Your more general question, all religions are illogical, and ridiculous. But I'm all for people wasting their time in pointless pursuits if that's what they want to do. My objection to Islam is that its a political/religious belief system that teaches people they are superior if they follow the teachings of a madman. I don't like National Socialism, or Communism for the same reasons.

As for rape, tell it to the Saudi's, Taliban, etc, I'm sure they'd thank you for the heads up?

Well if you arranged a conference with thousands of terrorists from any other religion (you'd have trouble because there's only one religion that has thousands of terrorists carrying out thousands of terrorist attacks), and that's Islam. Muslims as you well know, are taught that the hideous predatory behaviour of the warlord Mohamed (war, rape, slaving, theft, pedophilia), is the perfect example of conduct. Hence the explanation for the murderous behaviour of many Muslims. Logic

@canisfamilliaris So what religion, if any, would you say was not backwards and primitive? As for the example, you don't think that rapists deserve the death penalty? I personally see rape as worse than murder because the victim must live with it for their entire lives. I know multiple women that have been raped and I believe every man that did this disgusting crime deserves death. Or perhaps you are going off of the lack of evidence, which I never stated (nor is it said) what evidence he used?

Really your preaching to the wrong person, I can see with my own eyes how backwards and primitive Islam is, the behaviour of many Muslims conforms this.

What you should do is arrange a conference and invite, The Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban, The Saudis, Al Queda, and others, and explain with illustrations how they've all got Islam wrong.
