Yes, God CAN do anything. He can make a third arm grow out of your body or make you walk on your head. The issue is that God DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. God does not rip out the hearts and brains and identities of people when they become born again just to make them fit into the selfish and warped molds that Nazi bigots have created in the name of God. Belief in Jesus Christ is the ONLY means to salvation - not sexual identity.

@hmghosthost I think it is possible that he truly was gay, but Jesus Christ's love for us is so amazing that it can cause the mechanism for change. And, now he is straight. Because nothing is beyond the abilities of God.

The whole thing with arguements like hmghosthost presents is that it represents what most of mankind wants to do....and that is make God fit in their box...they do not want to surrender..Love is a surrender ..like Christ to the cross...
You have to give up...surrender your right to be right ...you have to be seeking truth to find it...you don't find it by dressing it up in your paradigm

Well, Sy Rogers was not actually a homosexual. He was a heterosexual who, by his own testimony, was molested, and deprived of gender edification, causing him to seek male effection and even go so far as to seek a sex change to feel adequate. He is not "ex-gay". He was never gay. He was a deeply emotionally and sexually wounded heterosexual whom the Lord has healed and restored to HIS natural heterosexual identity. That is VERY different from homosexual identity.

What makes Sy any different from any other person that is engaged in a homosexual lifestyle? Semantics.... If you would just trust God like he did, you could live the same freedom. When you listen to him, you will hear, by his own words, is he was "gay." ....And God set him free as he learned to use the principles of the Kingdom to help him navigate that freedom!!!
