This is a one day trip to San Antonio TX. Just some shots on the way and way back on I-37. Straight to my editor (Sony Vegas Pro), no effects, no color correction, no filters. Just the Camera as you get it out of the box. Played with the telephoto function to get some depth of field with my friend Carlos and the scenery. Music by Thomas Newman, Bethesda Fountain from the movie Angels in America

  • can you explain to me how you got it to look so nice? i use the same camera and my shots are not in HD no matter what i do, and it doesn not look smooth at all. please help me

  • @MrNewShoe For starters, you are PROBABLY shooting in HD, correct and not 4:3 SD? What do you capture your footage with? Which editor are you using? What format are you editing in? What format do you render to?

  • @filmcomposerz i have it set to 1080 i, im editing with adobe premiere pro, it says its rendering to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration, im editing in DV-Pal, Widescreen 48 Hz

  • @MrNewShoe Why DV PAL? Is your camera PAL or NTSC? When you open your porject go to the PROPERTIES of the Project and something like this: "HDV 720-30p (1280x720, 29.970 fps if you have the A1U or 25fps IF your cam is PAL)". PAL will only matter if you are rendering for PAL broadcast systems. DV is just regular Digital Video, you need to selct HDV settings in Premiere. See if that changes. And also render to an HDV file, 1280 x 720 for example.

  • was this shot in 720p or 1080i and is is 24p

  • @yayap001 1080i, 29.97 fps
