To mark this momentous occasion Paradox Interactive is delighted to present a new trailer, showcasing battlefield action, from it's forthcoming strategy title ELVEN LEGACY.

It will not be easy, but war never is! A determined foe will deploy in numbers. It will hold a strong force in reserve, ready to counter-attack any penetration of it's front-line. Archers and crossbow men will be placed directly behind war-bands, for mutual protection. The bowmen will be ready to retaliate with a shower of deadly missiles, when and where you decide to attack.

Only a general with the tactical nous to co-ordinate the army's attack, can hope to overcome the almost insurmountable odds arrayed against them. Let war machines weaken your adversary from a safe distance. Move forward your own archers and continue to decline their numbers from afar. Call upon contraptions that fly through the air to bombard them in safety. Order your war beasts of the sky, to swoop down. Further decimating their numbers. Then as your opponent's morale and discipline crumbles, charge them with mounted fighters to send them fleeing. Last of all, send in your footsoldiers to mop up the remaining rabble. If you are lucky, you may be able to keep your heroes and champions in reserve, ready to crack those tough nut surprises are just beyond view.

For only by employing your forces together, can you hope to keep them alive, through the many campaigns to come.

I just go through the first battle in the campaign and so far im really liking it,its deffinetly a good game for a person who is new to turnbased games it isnt to hard to learn the ropes here

Completely different game and not affiliated with Fantasy Wars.

It's selling for $5.00 on Direct2Drive. I think I just might pick it up. :D
