This was the opening of a live special Phil starred in [for General Motors' Pontiac division] on May 13, 1958, on CBS, which recreated musical numbers from current Broadway shows. The opening sequence featured him as "Bilko", with members of his "platoon" {Allan Melvin, Billy Sands, Herbie Faye, and Maurice Gosfield}.
