Radian Pro maiden w/GoPro HD

Maiden of my Radian pro. I mounted my GoPro HD underneath the wing. Test to see how stable of flight characteristics this platform is for high altitude video. Result is an extremely stable highly controllable flight over the original Radian.

I have a Radian Pro and been thinking of a good camera to get for it but the GoPro seems so big and cumbersome for an RC plane, how do you like it?

@ncmcgoverns, i love the radian pro. The GoPro is quite cumbersome if you don't mount it correctly. First, the case adds too much weight so you have to create your own case out of lexan. i tried it at several different places, including top of wing and even the cradle and it became dog slow trying to get up. the best is tucked right under the wing at the body.

Great video, perfect music. I can't wait, I will receive my Radian Pro tomorrow afternoon. Can't wait to start flying it and making some video's of my own. How did you mount your go pro. I have to go pro's and a Venom cam.

@IMRKJMSBITCH, thanks for the compliments. I put the camera right underneath the wing but cutting a small block out of the body. then i formed a lexan box to hold it in place. when i fly, i just secure the camera with tape and send it off.

@Ronin207 check your speedo is set correctly i have a go pro and fly with the radian pro and there is bags of power to lift the camera and the case , infact most takeoffs i use no more than 75% throttle it climbs to quick if anything i think if your plane is struggerling to lift it , the problem lies in the power not the weight , i think my radian handles better with the go pro on as it adds abit more weights to the cog and the plane does not bouce as much , Happy flying .

I have 2 go pro's and a Venom Snake Eye cam, Can't wait to install and start making some video's.
