@falcondriver100 but these new cars today are all plastic & flimsy..They crack like eggs when you hit them & they are so complex to work on that you can't even repair them yourself..Call them junk if you want,etc But give me steel over break apart plastic

@falcondriver100 You are wrong on a few points. Safety glass was standard on all GM cars by 1963. Introduced in the mid 1950's. Padded dash was optional on most cars. Standard on high end models. Seat belts optional on all models. Side impact beams and non piercing steering wheels were on Ford products ( 1961 and 1956 ).
Ford pushed safety in 1956. GM did have duel system braking on Cadillac and disk brakes on Corvette in 1963.

When cars were cars... these beauties put todays cars to shame. And Oldsmobile gone and Pontiac to follow... SHAME, GM!
