This is a sideshow of some of the photos I took while working at The Lakes Golf Club in beautiful Cape Breton Nova Scotia. I went down to repair some new fairways that had washed out from the rain and ended up there for three months as the rain never stopped. When I wasn't doing repair work I was building greens and cart paths. I had a blast...just love Cape Breton. Music is by the legendary Cape Bretoner, Matt Minglewood.

  • What a hell of a project, how many weeks?

  • It took two summers to rough in and landscape 18 holes. I was only there for 3 months building greens and doing a lot of repair work to sections that were washed out by rain before the grass had a chance to take root. As far as I know it still didn't open as they still had a lot of repair work to do this summer as well as finishing up odds and ends.
