Galactic Civ II: Dread Lords -Conquest Victory

Requires that you completely destroy all of the other MAJOR races in the game.

The difficulty or ease of a conquest victory is most profoundly affected by
the number of other major civilizations. Obviously two civilizations would be
easier to conquer than eight!

@CHUBBLE117 The oppressors might be nicer. Just look at Libya - some of those guys would practically welcome the inevitable intervention of the west, even though we're only hedging our bets for profit.

i don't know this game so correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't a freshly conquored peoples be a bit pissed off rather then throw a celebration?

Of course the song is peaceful you killed everything that walks and talks, they can't fight and so there is peace.

I have only earned this a few times. The diplomatic victory is much easier to get. I can't earn a conquest victory on the "crippling" difficulty level.
