I believe I remember them using this engine many, many years ago when I was little. They used it in place of the 4070 sometimes. My father used to drive me up to the Ira Road crossing every Saturday and Sunday to watch the 4070 stop there to drop people off at Hale Farm. I was always disappointed when they used the diesel instead, but it's great to see it again.
