I don't know who the lead singer is, but his voice is that of legendary Canadian character actor, Billy Van. Besides being on "The Sonny & Cher Show", "The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show" (S&C cast, crew & staff, minus S&C), "Bits & Bytes" & "Hilarious House of Frightenstein", he did a lot of voice work. In the 1960s, he fronted a singing group & was on "Nightcap" along with Alan Hamel (who's been Suzanne Somers' husband/manager for decades).

The movie marquee they pass at 9-10-11 sec. is showing "Cul-de-Sac" (1966 Francoise Dorleac, J. Bisset etc). Why this detail?

"Trouble," of course, was the inspiration for "The Monorail Song" in the Simpsons episode "Marge vs. the Monorail."
