Edoaurd Glissant, Noebl Prize nominated poet and Linton Kwesi Johnson, the father of clun poetry, meet in New York for a fiery debate on identity, politics and how slavery created our modernity.

Directed by Karen McKinnon and Caecilia Tripp.

Making History was created after Karne and Caecilia applied for the film programme, Blank Slate. Now in its sixth year, applications are now being taken (up until November 24th) by Blank Slate who are looking to fund the creation of the best ideas for short films. The programme is part funded by the UK Film Council New Cinema Fund and Arts Council England.

To apply with a 10 minute short film idea budgeted at £4,000 - £15,000 go to www.b3media.net/digitalshorts
