This is probably the best video on You Tube on the WJC. You get to see all this on TSN or RDS but nothing beats an amateur video right from the stands. Should be rated tops amongst all video on hockey on You Tube.

No argument here. The play of Slovakia's goalie had nothing to do with all the softies Tom McCollum let in. Plus, there were at least 2-3 times when one of our guys had a wide open net and put it wide. Then throw in Jordan Schroder's poor effort on the penalty shot. The USA deserved to lose that game, even as an American I agree.

For sure, I give the USA credit for a well-played game (Canadian here). I think that match-up precisely epitomized what Canadian hockey is all about, though: pure heart and the "never say die" attitude.

Regardless, say what you want about the Slovakian goaltender stealing the quarterfinal; it was an ugly finish for USA for a group that had the talent to win the championship.

How? We had 6 players that were eligible to play that were in the NHL, meaning they were too good to play in this tournament.

Congrats Canada, you won the Juniors and you deserved it. But igonrance is bliss if you can't see that the gap between Canada and the rest of the world is closing. Russia beat you in the Worlds and only a fluke goal with 6 seconds left stopped them from doing it again here. You needed OT to win the last Juniors after needing a shootout to win in the semis. And in 3 Olympics with NHL players, you've won only one stinkin' medal. Face it, the gap is closing. Oh yes, it's closing.

Oh you are so pathetic. In one post you say "Doesn't matter how we won, we won." Two posts later you're making excuses about why you lost the world championships ("Nash was in the box, it was 4 on 3"). Somewhere some Russian is reading that and going "Doesn't matter how you lost, you lost."

Typical Canadian- win in a manner that seems less-than-fair and you pat yourself on the back for being great, lose in manner that seems less-than-fair and you complain about it being unfair.
