@craftruth2009 Yep...the ushered out the "HB crap" as you call it and left us with...Pokemon, Yugi oh, and a lot of VERY forgettable stuff. From where I stand most of the really memorable stuff produced in the last 20 years is STILL associated with HB--by way of TIME WARNER (the DC Universe stuff, in particular). A lot of the HB crap from the period you described was bad, but a lot of also has tremendous staying power: Scooby Doo is still going strong after all these years.
I took my little sister and cousin to HB back in the 80's. I think if the park would have been closer to the center of Houston it would have been more successful.
