trolling between two islands on the Susquehanna River, and picked up a small 32 inch tiger musky. Tripod broke, and camera battery dead...great! Mikes Musky Guide Service.

  • hey do u know any setting techniques for muskies or any tech for setting the hook when a muskie bites, they seem to get off my hooks when i get bites

  • @sengx I have found that taking the big hooks off that come with the muskie lures and swapping them with a smaller hook has greatly improved mu hook up %. I use a #2 treble, on most of my muskie lures. try in once and see how you make out I think it is easy to get the smaller hooks to penetrate and or slide into the corner of the mouth then the over sized hooks.

  • harrisburg? man lol i wish my part of the river was that clean. mine is pure shit brown hard to believe but worse than that haha. i fish in the creeks and water drainage areas where the sunnies blue gill bass and small cat fish are. but sometimes ill go down to the main river and fish for some musky or catties or wall eye whatever can live in my part. its good fishing but its hard to catch fish u rarely see any. well besides those creeks. in the river i just dont get anything haha.
