  • @adiladil78 "Flash Airlines" was an airliner

  • Hmm, personally feel it was more of a pilot error crash. There may have been mechanical faults, but because the mechanical records were not duplicated, they were lost with the plane.

The rudder hardover crashes (UAL and US Air) happened during landing.

  • this is not a rudder hardover. the aircraft is slowly banking right and the pilot thinks he is level. the aircraft's rudder mechanism was inspected ant there were no signs of a malfunction, and this is why the crash is so mysterious. likely cause is spacial disorientation on behalf of the pilot, and out of respect for the captain, the f/o did not tell the captian until the plane started to spin out of control. then, at night, spin recovery is much more difficult as there is no visual horizon

  • I have flight one of two (in total) Flash Airlines' Boeings 737, from Sharm al Sheikh to Warsaw, just 2 weeks earlier. The aircraft looked on some 6-7 y.o., visually OK. But probably there was a lack of proper technical maintenance and pilot training. That accident brought me to think out on man's destiny. I support the decision of EU to ban such kind of airlines on EU territory.

  • ye this crash was blamed on disorientation as it was very dark and the pilot got confused with left and right. Hard to tell the ocean from the sky at night. it was much darker than whats shown in the video.

  • Yes but at night you rely on those instruments to tell you where you are etc. In this case because he for some reason became disorienatated he thought he was flying level and welll he was not, and then you know what happened.
