The Na'Vi people in Avatar went through many changes before a final look was decided on some of the earlyer versions where very "alien" looking as they evolved and became more "human like" it was found people could relate to them more easly as Alien "yet'" Very human like this was very important for the films story

"gas giant" doesn't mean it is entirely made up of gas. Obviously it is not, but as you know the atmosphere is full of gas on Pandora.

in the avatar book, pandora pedia, it says that the planet that pandora revolves around is a gas giant and that it is uninhabitable because of the massive storms that cover it

i saw 25 minutes of the film at sdcc 09 in 3D, its amazing. the look similar to this but with more pointed ears and a flatter cat like face and eyes. they're tall and slender. aug 22? imax will have 15minute preview. you'll want to see it, trust me, wow!!

You're a lucky bastard. I've been waiting for this film for seven fucking years! This movie is going to be amazing. I'm kind of worried about overhyping it though, because from some blogs that I've read from people who were at Comic Con, they said it wasn't as groundbreaking as they thought it would be. Hopefully they're just idiots who have no idea what they're talking about. EITHER WAY I'm going to see AVATAR in IMAX atleast 5 times. 12/18/09 AVAMOTHERFUCKINGTAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
