A small demo showing manipulation of a cup and an ice-tea box using a DLR/HIT Hand mounted on a Kuka LWR-4 Robot arm.

Work done at the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Lab at the Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM), in Munich, Germany.

The objects are detected using a camera and 3D models that are fitted on the image.

No movement trajectories are pre-calculated, but instead generated on-line using a vector field and damped-least squares inverse kinematics.
