wow thank you so much for the tip. i was so pissed when I started the camera for the first time on my tilt... that little tip helped a ton though.

holy wft?!? turning the power off for 5 secs makes it run smooth?!? it works! wow... great discovery. I love my Tilt by the damn thing has by far the worst video acceleration.

There is no way this is the AT&T Tilt.
Do you work for HTC or something? lol

Heh, nope.
This is AT&T Tilt bought December 2007 on their 50% sale thing.
There is a solution if u want fast FPS for video, you turn on camera, then push power button to turn off the screen, and keep it off for about 5 seconds. Then turn it back on - you won't have low-light compensation, but you will have very fast FPS even in the dark.
However, this trick was not used to shoot this video.

This is rather hard to believe, lol. Especially with prior performance videos and videos I've recorded in mid to high light situations with my own Tilt.
Kudos though.

It's not consistent. My Tilt's camera sometimes has 1-2 FPS as well in low-light areas. I think that having a bright object in dead center has a lot to do with FPS..
