Sono americano, ma conosco Caparezza da 4 anni. Ho fatto un viaggio in Italia e ho speso qualche tempo con una famiglia. Il figlio di quella famiglia mi ha introdotto Caparezza (e anche ha tradotto il testo a inglese qua!), e da quel tempo lo ascolto tantissimo. Nel semestre passato, ho speso quattro mese a Ferrara e avevo l'opportunità di vedere Capa in concierto. Lui è veramente un genio, e il concierto è stato uno dei migliori che ho mai visto.

Caparezza is an italian rap-rock artist that mixes politics, satire and theater in his songs. He's seriously a kickass musician, and even if you don't understand one word of Italian, you can really find pleasure in his music. Anyway, my host brother from my trip in 2008 got me into his music, and when I was studying abroad this past semester I had the opportunity to see him in concert. One of the best I've ever been to. So much energy. Caparezza is a word play genius, and you can hear that in all of his songs. I know it won't translate completely to English, but at least you can get the gist of the song! Even if you listen close and follow the subtitles, you can hear a lot of similarities between the languages.
(P.S. the message here is don't believe the bullshit conspiracists. We are destroying the planet and it'll be our fault if our world ends).
