The unmistakable voice of the lovely late Majel Barrett Roddenberry as 'The Computer' is almost reason enough alone to pick this little diddy up!!! Too bad all the AA / DST Tricorders couldn't have had the 'Computer' voice.
I agree with heavyarms01h when he says it would make the Tricorder work better as a 'role play prop' with the 'First Lady of Star Trek"s Computer voice instead of the voice clips.
I actually kind of like how the geological tricorder doesn't have any voice clips of the actors playing the crew, just of Majel Barrett Roddenberry as the computer. To me, it makes the tricorder work better as a "role play prop," the kind of thing you could use if you were, say, trying to make a fan film. It's too bad they're so costly...
