We work online. We love the interwebs. But that doesn't mean that TV isn't still powerful stuff.
This segment of the show "Extreme Resorts" spotlighted our client, ACE Adventure Resorts. And when the show aired, the numbers went up. Way up.
Why? Well, cable has a huge reach, for one. People that watch Extreme Resorts are pretty active when it comes to travel, as the subject matter implies. And there are lots and lots of them.
But more than that, it's because ACE is the perfect match for the audience. As the intro says, it's by far the largest adventure resort in North America, and you can't do everything they offer in a week.
It's exactly the kind of content that the show's fans look for. And, hey, we don't like the word "Extreme" any more than you do. But this is really a case of a match made in media heaven.
On a related note, one of the other reasons we love this clip is because everyone at WELD did this stuff before we got into content marketing. We were guides and video boaters, instructors and program managers. It still hits pretty close to home.
Right down the road, in fact.
