I am a Teacher - Education Express

This is a song I wrote about my own personal journey as an educator. My partner Art Tongen and I are instructors at Marchman Technical Education Center. We are also known as "The Education Express". This performance took place on November 15th 2008 at River Ridge High School in New Port Richey, Florida. The occasion was the first annual "So You Think You've Got Talent" talent show. Charley Belcher of FOX 13 Tampa Bay, was the MC. It was an honor and thrill to be chosen to perform. The standing ovation we received that night, we shall never forget. The most important thing though is the message that both the song and prelude to the song convey. Being a teacher is privilege that both Art and I take very seriously.
