I still remember the first time I shook his hand. Was on my first trip to Rome in 1982.

And it is thanks to such an inspiration that us catholics remain strong today

This pope lived his life in near perfect communion with Jesus. I think he visited like 125 countries in his lifetime. A most impressive preacher

@dewerbylhserf Do you enjoy doing this? Catholic bashing is your hobby isn't it? John Paul II is loved and respected by Catholics and non-Catholics alike, so if you do not feel that way, please don't just come here and insult him. I feel deeply sorry for you and your Fundamentalist brothers and sisters. We'll pray for you so that your lost and blind souls may see again. And please don't attack me with Bible verses, the Bible is a Holy book, not for you to attack another's faith with. God Bless.
Thank you for posting this, we missed seeing him by a few days, we were fortunate to bless his grave. He was an incredible person. God bless you Pope John Paul II. We love you, you will always be in our heart.
