these videos give me the courage to assemble the lower myself instead of buying one pre-assembled. is it really as easy as it looks or do you just make it look that way?

well about a year ago I made a rookie move and broke an ear off of the lower receiver while trying to install the trigger guard. I didn't have anything supporting the back of the receiver like in the video. I know I know guys it was an idiot move. But question is.... can a gun smith fix that or am I out of a perfectly good receiver?

what kind of lower are you using for this build?

Cool tip I learned.the hard way. If you.lose one of the detent springs, tear apart a bic lighter. And cut its spring to size :)

Just built my 1st lower watching both videos. Thanks a million. You made it easy.
Great Vid! Huge help in my first AR build. A tip for anyone installing a Magpul trigger guard mod - dont use the roll pin that comes with the Magpul; use the pin that comes with the trigger kit (assuming you didnt buy a cheap-assed kit). Its a much better pin and will install much more easily preventing any accidental marring of the guard.
