Kirby Superstar Arena Suplex (TAS)

Another random TAS video by me.

I decided that I wanted to do KSS Arena on the SNES so I thought; "Why not do a TAS of the oft-misunderstood-yet-potentially-most-deadly power of Suplex?" So I did. This is speeding through the Arena using mostly down-kicks (or whatever they're called), but I use what the enemy gives me when I can. Maybe I'll go through the Arena again with other powers too. Parasol might be interesting....

Comments on battles:
1) Combo Cannon: Pretty easy, but I had a hard time dodging that first cannon ball. Then the bomb showed up and I was going to suplex it into the cannon, but it moved too far away to hit the cannon well so I just blew up the bomb over the cannon. Could be better.

2) Computer Virus: Not the easiest of battles to do with Suplex, but I managed to finish them each off with pretty powerful strikes. This is a very luck-dependent battle.

3) Heavy Lobster: Would have been faster if I could have suplexed those little lobster robots he throws out.

4) Twin Woods: Not much special here. Takes 9 seconds though.

5) Waddle Dee: What to do with this guy? Swallowing is the easiest, but this is Suplex only so I went with a mix of Suplex and down-kicks.

6) Chameleo Arm: Not much else I could do here except constant down-kicks

7) King Dedede: A most interesting fight. You can't just pull off down-kick after down-kick. The minimum number of frames between one down-kick's damage and when you can begin the next one is 20. However, when Dedede is damaged he is invulnerable for 25 frames instead of the normal 10 or so.

8) Wham Bam Rock: Annoying battle at least. I MIGHT have been able to do it faster if I attacked the left side of the third fist and been able to get to the other hand in time to do enough damage to finish him.

9) Fatty Whale: Bad beginning made up for by second pass. The Up-suplex can hit up to three times: going-up, throwing-up (not barfing), and falling object.

10) Bonkers & co.: Lots of down-kicks followed by suplex finishes.

11) Meta-Knight: He moves pretty fast and some of his attacks makes him damage Kirby (which I was trying to avoid, but it would have sped things up if I had taken damage here).

12) Dyna Blade: I'm a little disappointed by my first throw and that the second throw didn't kill her.

13) Kracko: More down-kicks. I don't think I could have made this faster.

14) Poppy Bros. Sr. & co.: See battle #10

15) Whispy Woods: Went OK. Might have been faster if apples cooperated.

16) Heart of Nova: Doesn't really matter since Suplex can't be used here

17) Halberd's Reactor: Suplex doesn't really apply, but I managed to destroy the cannon on the front of the reactor.

18) Lololo & Lalala: I don't think this could have been faster either. Two well-timed back-drops can off them both.

19) Marx: Another partly-luck based battle. Him planting those seeds takes a long time and I only barely got to hit him with the one I grabbed.
