Children as young as six are being sexually abused by United Nations peacekeepers and aid workers in return for food and money, says a report by Save the Children, a non-profit organisation.

Children in post-conflict areas are being abused by the very people drafted into such zones to help look after them, says Save the Children.

Haitian children are particularly at risk, says Save the Children.

If we truly care about victims, we must start take a rational look at both prevention and prediction of sexual criminality and abuse. Often people will focus on what has happened and how harshly will the offender be punished. If we knew how to stop the action before it took place, we would not have another victim or multiple victims. We must know what to look for and who to look out for.
